Mission Statement: As Secular Franciscans, we go from Gospel to life and life to Gospel in the tradition of St Francis of Assisi.
Vision Statement:
We link the 4 Elements of parish life (Word, Worship, Community and Service) with our Four Pillars to address the content, approach, living, and sharing of our Secular Franciscan way of life through:
Spirituality which helps us focus on our Worship quest to nourish and make strong God’s Spirit within us
Formation that serves to provide insight into the Word of God to understand and practice an authentic Franciscan way of life
Fraternity which encourages us to respect each other’s gifts and uniqueness by helping to shape a fraternity that builds Community in the world and gives witness to the kingdom of God
Apostolate that ministers to and with our brothers and sisters as well as providing Service to the larger community.
Franciscan Crown
Our Fraternity is developing a customizable Franciscan Crown. Currently, there is an additional story about its history that is not commonly know that is posted right now.
Our Council
OFS Rule #22. The local fraternity is to be established canonically. It becomes the basic unit of the whole Order and a visible sign of the Church, the community of love. This should be the privileged place for developing a sense of Church and the Franciscan vocation and for enlivening the apostolic life of its members.
Projects
Our fraternity is developing several projects to help promote awareness of our Order, to create items that can be used to foster a greater sense of community.

We will promote National Events such as the OFS Quinquennial Congress; BSSF Regional events like the Annual Regional Gathering (ARG); local fraternity events such as our gatherings, retreats, days of reflection, Transitus; and other Catholic events that the fraternity wants to promote.
